Infinite Venture Holdings LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”)
1. DATA COLLECTION AND USE
MileMark is a "Privacy-First" application.
No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
No Data Transmission: The database containing milepost locations is stored locally within the App package. Searching for a milepost does not require an internet connection and does not log your search history."
2. LOCATION DATA (FUSED LOCATION)
The App requires access to your device's location services to identify the nearest milepost.
Fused Provider: We utilize a Fused Location Provider which may use GPS, Wi-Fi, and Cellular data to ensure accuracy in varied environments (underpasses, canyons, etc.).
Local Processing: Your coordinates are used locally to calculate distance against our database.
No Tracking: We do not track movements in the background or store a history of your coordinates.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Location Services: The determination of coordinates is facilitated by Google Play Services.
External Mapping: When you select a specific milepost result to view it on a map, the App generates a web link to Google Maps containing those coordinates. This action opens your web browser or the Google Maps app, at which point Google’s privacy policy applies
4. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND ANALYTICS
We do not use third-party tracking tools (like Google Analytics) or advertising SDKs within the App.
5. DATA SECURITY
Because we do not collect or store any user data, your data remains entirely on your own mobile device. We recommend following standard mobile security practices.
6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
